Web2 jul. 2011 · I'm not an expert on D-28's but I have played many and own a 1964. As you probably know the 50's and 60's will usually start in the $5000 range, if that's a consideration. As far as quality, guitars in general of the 70's, are thought to not have been as well manufactured, as in other years. That goes for Gibson (Norlin), Fender and Martin.
