At 50 yards my 452 in 17HM2 makes 1/2 inch 5 shot groups on average over five groups. But it is ammo sensitive. Those results for me were with Eley ammo several years ago. When you could get CCI, Eley, and Remington 17HM2 ammo, the CCI was twice that group size and the Remington split the difference.
